The Eyes and Ears of God is a hymn expressing the idea that the Creator of our Universe had to allow for the development of life in order to have have sensors and manipulators of data for purposes of self awareness. The original version had the choir singing a cappella half the time. Because this was difficult for our choir I arranged a new version in which a guitar accompanies the choir in those parts.
The third version with piano, trumpet and clarinet accompaniment was arranged for a concert at which orchestral instruments were available but not a guitar. The clarinet takes over the guitar part, somewhat revised, and the trumpet is added to the proclamations about creation of the physical world.
